Cross Roads Church has an active children’s group and is an intentionally intergenerational faith family. Children and youth of all ages are included in every aspect of congregational life as we believe that the faith is “caught not taught” through active participation and relationship building.

Children in Worship  Children are welcome in worship! Each Sunday there is a special children’s message up front with the pastor prior to the sermon, youth help to lead different aspects of the service, ribbons are available for kids who want to dance or move to the music, and activity pages with crayons are available every Sunday.
 
Nursery  We welcome children in worship as part of God’s family but realize that sometimes they get restless.  A staffed nursery is available from 9:30 am – 11:30am on Sunday mornings. Caregivers are First Aid and CPR certified and a minimum of two adults are present with the kids at all times. 
Sunday School  Children of all ages learn more about God and the Bible during the Sunday School hour each Sunday (September – May) from 11:30 am -12:30 pm. Children’s Sunday School (preschool – 4th grade) and Youth Sunday School (4th grade -12th grade).
 
 
Campfire/Youth Night – Campfire Night – Saturday, October 7th, 5:30-8:30pm. Youth Nights and Campfire Nights are now combined for more fun! We are combining youth night and campfire night into one larger monthly event this year. The youth will gather inside starting at 5:30pm for a time of Bible study and activities broken up by age group, then we’ll finish the night outside together with ALL generations (at 7pm) around the campfire. We’ll still have all the top hits of hot dogs, s’mores, singing and storytelling, plus plenty of time to relax and have fun. Come join us on the first Saturday of each month! 
 

 
Retreats and Camps  Faith formation for young people who are discovering the world and themselves is so important. That’s why Cross Roads Youth participate in retreats at John Knox Ranch and at Mo Ranch each year, as well as the opportunity to participate in summer camps and the occasional overnight events on campus.
